You’re not remembering that right. Even if she had thrown boiling water, it still wouldn’t have posed a serious threat. When you throw water from a pot, it breaks into droplets, disperses, and cools almost instantly. By the time that mist reaches someone fifteen feet away, it’s closer to warm bath water than a scalding mass.
Can you provide a link to this experiment please?

He needs to serve a lot of time for that

everything that could go wrong did go wrong.
1st-yes a pot of boiling water can be a deadly weapon, totally agree..now that we've addressed the elephant in the room..
--he had multiple options which include everything from backing all the way out, she was within distance of using a taser or even spray...FFS he could have even shot the fricking pot..which once again I know..shoot to stop the threat etc..etc.. but I would think most reasonable people would find that action somewhat more reasonable than shooting her in the face 3x ..had he exercised reasonable judgement as a man (rules/protocol be damned) she would still be alive and this a-hole would be suspended or fired, not penetentiary bound.. either way shame on him, he got what he deserved.

Heat a skillet as hot as you can. Now, while holding your hand a foot or two above it, drip a little water onto the surface. You’ll feel it pop against your hand, maybe even sting for a split second, but it won’t burn you. The droplets evaporate and lose heat so fast they don’t have time to cause damage.
Real-world example: commercial dishwashers hit 180 to 200°F for sanitation. Yet guys work next to them while they’re venting steam and spraying droplets all day. Completely fine. No scalds, no ER trip.
And I’m a cook by trade. If droplets of hot liquid (including oil) caused serious burns from even a foot away, I’d leave every shift looking like I had chickenpox.

He deserves the death penalty IMO
Strip his arse butt naked, drop him off in the worst slum around, make sure everyone is aware of who he is and let nature take its course.
Some people just need to die.

Way worse than Floyd.
Yes. The left refuses to pick good martyrs for their causes. Floyd was a tragedy of his own making. This was unjustifiable.

Cop was an absolute POS. One of the most sickening videos I've ever seen. He pointed a gun at her for no reason, which led her to duck in fear. Once she ducked, cop absolutely lit her up.
I pray she's with Christ, and the stupid cop spends the rest of his days in prison.

This one is bad but Daniel Shaver is still the worst for me (shot playing a deadly game of Simon Sez in a hotel hallway in Mesa)
That one was so jacked up

didn’t the woman actually try to sort of throw the boiling water at him? I remember you could see the water on the floor in the video.
Haven’t made it through this thread so could be repeating others, but this is the exact logic the bootlickers on this board used to justify a “good shot”. Sickening.

Correct. Most could barely get out of high school. Actually. Out of every ten police officers I know probably one has a brain.
A police force in PA was sued several years back for using high IQ as a DISQUALIFIER for employment.

On July 17, 2024, a grand jury indicted Grayson on five counts, including three counts of first-degree murder
why did they originally charge him with 3 counts of 1st degree murder if he only shot and killed one lady? Was she pregnant with twins or something?

I’m not excusing what the cop did, but if someone near me is holding a boiling pot of water and tells me “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus”, I’m feeling threatened.

He told her to take it off the burner and was laughing when he said “we don’t need a fire in here“. She took it off the burner. When he said stop or I will blow your head off, she dropped the pot, coward down and said “oh, I’m sorry“.
If someone drops a pot of water, while cowering down, I’m not feeling threatened at all.
