I’m sure the Covid vaccines don’t have anything to do with it .

We've got a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Until kids I never realized how much sickness will just hang around the house forever. Like you we had pretty much everyone in our house sick in varying stages for well over a month. Half of us still have some lingering runny nose/throat stuff going on.

Since Louisiana has one of the lowest rates of COVID vaccine uptake in the United States, I'm going to say no.

Meh. If you're sick keep your arse at home. Especially during the holidays.

I've had several folks out sick at work. Mostly upper respiratory stuff, but a couple have ended up with pneumonia, so best to stay on top of it with the Vit C and D, fluids, rest.

100% agree.

If you are actually sick, and contagious please stay home and spare the staff. That is the professional way to go about it.

Howevever, since Covid the line for "being sick" has apparently been moved way up. People will start their excuse "i dont want to get everyone else sick"

It makes me chuckle every single time. Id rather you just lie and say you want to burn the sick days honestly.

Don’t forget that Walmart workers are considered essential workers

We need to stop putting down these folks down. If you needed anything in that time period, they were essential to you.

es. You don't need to be swabbed for Covid
If you’re around immunocompromised people, you don’t want to spread it to them if you have Covid. Too many inconsiderate people out there.

Not to get too off topic but I don’t think anyone is putting Walmart workers down.

What they are saying is what makes a Walmart worker any more essential than everyone else? People are calling out the politicians that made these rules that didnt make any sense.

Also sidebar.. what sense did it make to close down one entrance to every store and make everyone bottleneck in and out of one door? Always blew my mind that was a solution to every store when it came to Covid protocol and “social distancing”.

Understood.

In my opinion? Food and water make them a little more essential than a Finance person at an oil and gas company.

2nd question, robbery.

O&G doesn't function without the bean counter these days.

Now the ESG task force is a different matter...

Right? Four exam days. Can't give it on Friday because half of the district doesn't show up the day before a holiday.
