I forgot to buy a ticket. Oh well

I knew a guy who won 50k on a scratch off. I consider it karma. Because he was one of the most genuinely kind and good hearted people I've known.

17 million, and the family was already worth way more than that.

My mom use to know a lady from the gym when i was a little kid that won that thing where you send your losing ticket back in and they redraw and won a million. She went on vacation and bought me a shark tooth...so i got a piece of it lol.
This was way back in the early 90s

Worked with someone that won 3 million before we started seeing these 50+ million dollar prizes. They took the money and started a company delivering ice and now make a killing.

It has been rumored that a family friend (who was pretty rich) either won the lottery or had a sugar daddy thing with a very wealthy guy from Chicago. I'm not sure what side I take.

No but I know someone that got 1.5 million from a will. In a year they were being foreclosed on, on a house they originally paid cash for... dumbasses

Yep. I know a guy in Bienville Parish that won a few million. He was working off shore at the time, poor as a whippoorwill. Wife went to pick him up after his hitch. She had filled up with gas just before she picked him up and they had 2 or 3 dollars afterwards. They stopped and bought 2 tickets and they won. Awesome folks. He built a log cabin and bought nice vehicles for the both of them. If one would see him now they would stil think he's a broke arse. Sorry for length

My cousin won 1 million on a 10 dollar scratch off, but frick him his brother just got out of the army, and his girlfriend at the time took pretty much everything before he came back, he wouldn't help him at all. He got I believe like 625,000 after taxes, karma comes back on you though last i heard he was on his fourth dui.

The parents of aninstructor at LSU won the Florida lottery and gave him a piece of the pie. He quit working. A year or two later he was back at LSU trying to get his old job back.
