I give everything I catch to children around me. The ones I keep are for disabled children that my wife works with.

Damn right.

Wish I would've noticed you earlier so I could throw you some stuff.

Well, to me Thoth was a whole lot better than Bacchus. They threw so much we I had to go to the car and dump all our bags. Bacchus didn't come close to the amount that Thoth threw.

Thoth and Endymion are in a class of their own as the best throwing krewes. Thoth doesn't have as pretty floats though

They had to have been up the whole night rewiring the trailers right?

Yep. They were still working on them right before we loaded up I think. We were delayed a bit getting to the floats.

Involving multiple tractor-float hook-ups won't stop incidents but would increase the chance of incidents.

We had tandems floats before the limits began.

No other route can measure up to the Midcity route.

ea it’s not happening. We already got instructions on when to go get our leftover stuff off the float starting tomorrow

Any of you Endymion guys that have throws from from this year that you wont use next year because its dated or themed and you have nothing to do with it, I have a 4.5 year old at home that fricking loves Mardi Gras and the stuff he got, if you want to ship a couple things.

A good portion of the Endymion route is barricaded. People get in front of the barricades and the police do not order them back.

I agree with you. But the city and police department have no contingency plan. Easier for them to shut down the parade.

The mayor, police chief and fire chief are all fricking idiots.

Just getting across town during Mardi Gras is hard enough, it’s really impressive they were able to get people, generators, tractors, etc in less than 24 hours.

Shout out to competent people in management positions, a rarity in New Orleans

I probably have a few things left over. Shoot me an email and I’ll put something together.

Not realistic. It's not one or two people in the street banging on floats. Massive crowds are in the streets beyond the barricades along side the floats.

Yeah exactly, and it all ran smoothly at least according to what we saw.

Police chief said today he doesn’t know what changes will be made but there will be changes next year. I have zero faith in the chief or the city. They should let the crews handles this.
