With all the type A’s that ride Endymion I’m sure that message board was comparable to the OT.
The message board was people suggesting names for the headliners, then complaining about who the actual headliner was, then people asking about extra tickets.

Endymion and Zulu route changes WDSU
New route is up. Didn’t see a need for a new thread.
Endymion turns right on Elk, left on Poydras, right on St. Charles, left on Julia.
I’m just glad they didn’t move it uptown...

Don't see any way my float makes the turn on Julia. (Pontchartrain Beach). We hit shite just going straight.

When this came out after the dome renovation announcement I thought there was no way Pontchartain beach float makes that turn onto Julia.
They have to be planning breaking that bad boy up this year into separate 3 floaters

We carry a fork lift on the float for a reason. Its not an if we are getting stuck, it's just a where.Last year we somehow hit a telephone pole going straight down St. Charles.

I don't like this. The blocks between Canal and Poydras are a highlight of the parade. This means we will not pass Serio's. I always like to bombard their LSU reviewing stand with good stuff. I would rather take a left on St. Charles and head back to Canal.

As would I. Always like that part of the ride. It’s like the people in the stands are on top of you and your running through a chute.
Still interested to see how the turn at Julia turns out.
Was down there a few weeks back and to be honest, I don’t see how that turn is made with the double or triple pulling floats - let alone the beast that is Pontchartain beach.

Yeah, I don't get the turn onto Julia. I would have thought stay on Loyola and then down Caliope to the convention center.
But... having parades on Poydras will be neat and interesting. Buddy of mine works in Energy Centre and we always park there and walk down to St. Charles for Endymion. I would assume we could park in his garage and then just walk to the corner.

Damn I like that route. If I’m not mistaken it passes right on the side of Emerils on Julia
