quote:

For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how current events (AI, digital currency, globalism/WEF, geopolitical issues, etc.) will mesh with end times biblical prophecy.

My understanding of how things will unfold is:
Wars, famines, diseases, & natural disasters will see a huge uptick.
God will pour his spirit onto the earth as a way to get believers into/back into good graces.
The Rapture will take place.
A leader will emerge to calm the global population. This will be the Antichrist. He/she will be a leader who has had past success leading.
The global population will be required to accept the “mark of the beast” in order to trade, work, use public services, etc.
The antichrist will name a world spiritual leader. Religion will be a mix of various paganisms & spirituality…kind of like Universal Unitarianism.
Things will go fine for 3.5 years, at which time the antichrist will really crack down on the population and chaos will ensue for the final 3.5 years. The “Beast” will be in control during this period.
At the 7 year mark, Christ will return for the final battle (Armageddon?).
Then Christ will reign on earth for 1000 years.

For the tribulations to be what we expect, a totalitarian globalist government will have to be in place along with digital currency.

Some think the Beast will be AI driven.

Pretty much all of the things the bible tells us will come to pass with increasing frequency are happening today.

It feels like we’re getting pretty close to Gabriel blowing his trumpet.

I’m not sure why I wrote this, or why I’m hoping for a civil conversation…but what are your deep thoughts on the end times?

Have you ever blown a pickle, just to see what it would feel like to be on the other end of a blow job?

In my opinion the end times are closer then many suspect.

Oh how convenient that the time you live in will be the end times and not the dozens of other eras where scared Christians claimed the anti christ was upon us.

Since the beginning of time, people have been making money on forecasting the end of times.

I believe in a higher power and also that the odds are we’re currently in some sort of simulation. I haven’t figured out how those two things overlap.

It does feel like things will get worse before they get better. Fortunately life has been better in past 50 years than possibly any other time in human history. I try to remind myself of that fact.

The only thing about a pickle though is the bumpiness makes it not so comparable. Easy fix though to just slice off the bumps.

I’ve also wrestled with this.

My current thought is that - if you’re a believer - then you already accept that you live in God’s simulation.

This isn't common? When I was 11 someone told me that's how people know if they are gay. They deepthroat a pickle and if they like it they are gay.
