Fire them all, hire replacements with slightly higher pay

Why do you hate them? Do you hate people who join unions?
Posted on 1/11/24 at 3:24 pm to TheSadvocate
Just close the dang store. Too many of them anyway.
Posted on 1/11/24 at 3:24 pm to TheSadvocate
They fired that store manager because they couldn't keep the place clean. Not asking a lot of a food and beverage place type manager. "Unexplained reasons" my arse.

These same employees start at $15/hr as a barista. Shift leads make near $20/hr…….
This is in BR market, which is good money for what little skill it requires in a low cost of living area…….

I make fun of these fricking water heads because, if history has shown anything in BR, it is that unionizing and the eventual striking against a business is just going to result in the business saying “frick this shite” and closing their doors.

LOL. Looks like this one is the next on the list set for relocation.

Careful, that's how you go from having a job at Starbucks to not even having a Starbucks with the quickness.
Yea. Just fire the s. Sherwood crew and move in personnel from other stores. Starbucks does this already when they have staffing issues…….

Starbucks sucks
Agreed. I'd rather have a cup of coffee from Racetrac

Imagine complaining about working conditions in an air controlled building, lifting things no larger or heavier than a jug of milk, and working at a slow pace because everyone waiting is on their phone or their laptop, and being managed by environmentally and socially conscious liberals

They can’t do that. That’s union busting directly. What they’ve been doing elsewhere with success is closing stores due to “crime” or general safety issues immediately after the store staff votes to unionize. I hope they do it here too

I get an iced coffee from there just about every morning. $1.90 and its usually free with my race trac points. Just as good as Starbucks with no blue haired alphabet people to deal with.

They're going to end up like the Baton Rouge Kroger.

Starbucks on College Dr is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to in my life.

What exactly had to go down for this to happen? Just convince enough of the blue hairs to vote to unionize?
That would be a short walk.
