Got an email from AT&T that included the following change to my service agreement: "your recurring service(s)/programming charges and fees won’t be prorated if you cancel the above service(s) on any day other than the last day of your billing cycle. Your service(s) will continue until the end of your billing cycle but you won’t get a refund (prorated credits) for any remaining days left in your billing cycle".
Appears if I move and cancel my service, I still have to pay for service I may not using. I would agree that I'm being petty but I get aggravated when decisions that affect me are made one-sided and pushed on me. Anyone else think AT&T are being arse h*les??

You have options. If you don't like it, go to a different carrier.
But yes AT&T is crap.

I thought that was standard. You oay for a month of service. Whether you use it or not is on you. Unless I’m not understanding something.

I think cable and satellite have pretty much always been of the "if you use it a minute, you've used it a month" model.

Do you get rent back, if you move before the month is up? Same concept

Petty question.
I read it as you have to pay for up to an extra month because you failed to correctly plan on when to cancel your existing service.
Plan well and there’s no issue.
