Equally funny watching conservatives fawn over someone who openly promotes and funds climate change agenda and socialism.

The best part is the caption of that tweet was “in case you need to lose a boner fast”

Or force solar city onto Tesla to line his own pockets.
Tesla solar division (formerly Solar City) did over $800 million in revenue last year and is growing. Doesn't sound like a bad investment. Besides, the theory is Musk bought out SC to bail out his cousins who started it. Not to line his own pockets.
He was already worth billions when he invested $10 million into SC and worth more when Tesla bought it out for $2.6 billion. How much do you think he really gained from that? Do you think he cared if he lost that $10 million?
At least get your BS straight.

Five years ago Tesla bought SolarCity, the biggest installer of residential solar panels in the US. In a trial that began on July 12, Tesla CEO Elon has had to defend that decision against shareholders who claim the acquisition amounted to a bailout.
If Musk loses, he'll be liable to pay up to $2.6 billion back to Tesla

They’re just pissed they can’t control him. There isn’t a “right winger” anywhere that thinks Elon is some savior of conservative values. Elon is a classical liberal with a dose of libertarianism before they went mainstream tossed in. Which makes Mr. Stanfords disdain for him after admitting who he voted for even funnier

Well all the right wing media is all in on Musk.
The soys hate the guy who is a leader in getting gas engines off the road.
Cognitive dissonance at its peak. The ideology of extreme jealousy.

You don’t have to like everyone of his policies. When he’s one of the only powerful people in the world trying to stop big tech from limiting conservative’s speech, of course he’s going to be appreciated. You’re not nearly bright enough to play the constant contrarian role.

I'm a pretty neutral person on Musk. He's an interesting guy but I think the electric car revolution is overblown.
But it is funny nonetheless.

Musk isn't perfect but I agree with him on enough issues and can appreciate his stand against SJW and for free speech.
Since when do we have to go all-in on agreeing with someone 100%? Sort of have to take what you can get in some cases.

Tesla didn't need to buy Solar City, it was a pointless purchase.
Musk owned 22% of Solar City.

There is a lawsuit that will decide this but it was not to line his own pockets as you said. It was to bail out his cousins. What did he really gain from it?
Meanwhile, after some failures, Tesla's solar and home power storage is doing very well. Looking forward it doesn't seem to be a bad investment anymore.
