People act like there are unlimited roles at these companies with the stature and pay or better just waiting in the wings.
There isn't a CEO or CFO role at such a large liberal influencing company open.
This is a serious personal downgrade even with the money.
These people were clearly doing it to be leaders of the DNC first. Now they are nothing.

I guess so. And I don’t think many in this thread realize they all have massive buyouts if fired. These execs are popping champagne right now
Only if they had some kind of protection in writing with the buyout if not then they are just another employee with a pink slip.

Their bonus for the sale will be more money than most will ever dream of.
Their exits were likely negotiated.

Their bonuses are irrelevant, but keep running with that

They left a company that didn't want them and probably took a 50 million with them.
Well reported the CFO takes home at least 25MM if the deal closes.

Yep. Huge power to nothing. Twitter probably has more control over the narrative than any other platform.
They were already making millions. They'd rather have the power than another 12 million in the bank with nothing coming behind it.

The bonus was already granted stock bonuses that vested early because the company was purchased
That's it
That's it

Meta is quietly laying people off as ad revenue for them is declining. They have missed earnings in the past few quarters. They are in a free fall and won't be hiring anyone from Twitter anytime soon.
Meta has plenty of cash and is likely looking to change leadership soon. Who better than the team that just maximized the value of twitter?

You are a tech valuation expert too?
Musk bought twitter at over $54 a share which was way over its trading price at the time. Musk tried to back out andTwitter sued to enforce the sake because the terms were so favorable to them. All the twitter leadership fought to make sure this sale went through

Congrats. Huge win for you people.

Meta has lost over $700 billion in value in the past year.

Best thing he could do with Twitter is shut it down
