Used electric for years but it always tickled my nose. Thinking about going back though. Which do you use?

I've got a sonicare but I seldom use it. Typically I just go the old school route

Sonicare is the only electric tooth brush worth buying. It stimulates the gums properly.

Floss, then old school to clean up.

Old school toothbrush and a waterpic once a week. Haven't had a cavity in 25 years.

I like to munch on some clean shaven pink poon in the morning to freshen my breath up

I prefer the sonicare automated tooth brush for two reasons:
1. the sonic action actually can clean past the length of the bristles.
2. it has a timer that will give you immediate feedback. The timer is slightly more than two minutes and if you stop before it stops you know that you didn't brush for long enough.
On average, if you give someone a toothbrush and ask them to brush for the recommended two minutes and time them without their knowledge, they generally brush for 35 seconds.
This is slightly more than one quarter of the recommended time. The automated toothbrush keeps you honest.

Went to the dentist today. She said she can always tell who uses electric vs manual. That is our clue to use electronic.
