Gardere - heh - moved into a new duplex on Keel Drive in 1982. It was a reasonably nice place to live and it was cheap.

Cheap was the problem. They overbuilt too. Within a few years landlords were desperate to find anyone to live there. It went from young middle class to largely immigrant to ghetto within a few years. 5 years after I left I drove through to get a look. The cops stopped me and asked if I was looking for drugs. They said if not I should just get my arse out of there for my own safety. From the looks of things they were not wrong. Just amazing how quickly a neighborhood can go bad.

Their trigger discipline is, frankly, amazing.

One point for Boosie.

On the other hand, half of those weapons are being employed offhand with a single hand in the right and half are in the left. It's likely that at least two of those guns are being held loosely by the non-dominant hand and it will likely be very hard to hit anything past ten feet away.

Point removed.

However, the cameraman they're pointing their ostensibly loaded weapons at (the revolver does appear to be filled with hollowpoints, for instance) is less than ten feet away.

Point returned to Boosie.

Still, you don't point your weapon at anything you don't plan to shoot and Boosie is, at last measure, free; I assume that video doesn't have a "Natural Born Killers" ending.

Point taken away again.

Ah, so this is why you couldn't go to Zucker's.

Sigh.
