And they're not military style! It's near impossible to get a gun that is fully automatic like what the military and some law enforcement has

If you have the money you can get ANY gun the Military is using today with no problems. Select fire, 3 rd burst, fully auto, the whole 9 yards. Gun Broker sells them all day long as well as many gun dealers. YOU just need money. Anybody can own them. The reason most dont is because a single gun cost between $9000 and $50,000. The license is the least of your worries.

You dirty commie son of a bitch. Next they'll ban cotton balls, Bc cotton balls are deadly when jammed down someone's throat. So tell me the difference between an assault rifle with a huge clip and a cotton ball?!?!

$9000 on a single gun just to burn through hundreds of rds in seconds.

Especially when a slide fire stock cost $400 and basically turns your semi auto into an auto in the fact you only have to pull the trigger back once to make your semi go through an entire magazine but by the definition of a full auto it's still classified as a semi auto fire selection.

Were the guns used in sandy hook, San Bernidino and this most recent shooting automatic rifles? What is the difference between semi automatic and automatic ??

How hard is a automatic gun to buy

I think you are trolling but if not I will copy and paste what I posted for some idiots on the poli board yesterday:

quote:

Not just anyone can obtain a "fully automatic selective-fire rifle" legally as that requires a class III stamp, there are only a little over 169,000 legal fully auto weapons in the USA, and to buy one will cost $15K+.

quote:

You own a conventional rifle because you want to protect your property or feed your family.

The weapons the media calls assault rifles are actually conventional rifles FYI.

These two guns shoot the same caliber ammo, can carry the same capacity, and have the same rate of fire. What's the difference in your opinion?

quote:

Everyone knows this. It's why that huge lobby isn't called the "National Handgun Association" or "National Assault Rifle Association."

And yet they also fight to protect handgun rights and ownership.

Yea but most ARs in full auto should have select fire-3 round burst. The guy at the range did. His looked like an AK but it 5.56. He told me it close to $9000. It wasnt an American made If you want an American made full auto AR like Colt its about $15,000

HKs are extremely expensive. I looked at some and they were $38,000

He also had a 9mm Tommy gun, an AK pistol, and a silencer that went on his full auto rifle. He had this hand crank device on the trigger of one of the other guns. It was like a fishing reel handle. every revolution was 4 shots fired. The casings were everywhere. It was nuts. That full auto was magnificent to see though, He would shoot about 4 times with a 3 rd burst and then unload the rest automatic.

A dual action revolver is semi automatic by definition. Every time you pull the trigger it fires...until you are out of ammo.

Like I said, if you have the money you can own any machine gun made today. A M240, MK 19, and M2 if you want. Any infantry soldiers carry today can be bought. Sniper rifle? No problem. If you have the cash there is nothing you cant own except nuclear weapons.

are there guns that fire a 3-round burst each trigger pull and would they be considered automatic or semiautomatic?

I knew getting a fully automatic legally was a huge pain in the arse and a very lengthy process. But damn I didn't know it costs THAT much.

They are fully auto. When you buy a fully auto AR-15 it will normally come with select fire switch to shoot, single shoot(semi auto) 3 rd burst, or full auto.

Ok, I'll give you a serious response.

A revolver, pistol, double barrel shotgun, AR 15, AK 47, many hunting rifles, many shotguns are all semi automatic guns.

Both guns used in Orlando were semi automatic. FYI, they make some pistols that have 30 round magazines that fit flush and some 30+ round magazines that don't fit flush for handguns

You have to jump through many hoops to buy a automatic gun and they are expensive. This is why these guns are almost never used to commit a crime. One has not been used in recent years.
