Every available unit from LP and Walker running roadblocks for Acadian Ambulance heading down Florida BLVD. Like 30-40 units all driving well over 100.

Sitting on Florida BLVD. Right now. Saw all the units heading towards the town of Livingston about 30 minutes ago and they all just came back towards Walker escorting the ambulance and running roadblocks for it.

a lot of factors of why a chopper may not be quickest

where the nearest available chopper was

how close to the incident the chopper could land

how long would an ambulance take to get to hospital esp with a rolling road block

There is a hospital in Walker. An ambulance w/ a police escort could get there from Livingston in about 10 minutes. It would probably take longer to start up the helo.

Knowing Livingston Parish, the Mayor's dog probably had a tummyache.

I don't know that I've ever seen something that serious. If it were in Livingston, they probably would've just taken I12. Had to have been something between walker and Satsuma, Walker PD didn't send me a text about a wreck or anything.

That's what I was thinking... had to be between Walker and west of Livingston. Probably north of 190.
