East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies are currently responding to an apartment complex for a quadruple shooting where one of the injured has died.

It happened just before 10pm on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd at the Willow Bend Lake Apartments on Mead Rd. along I-12 off of Sherwood Forest Blvd.

Sources tell Unfiltered with Kiran that the shooting appears to have started inside an apartment with multiple shell casings in that apartment.

Yup. Katrina put a knife against the throat of BR. The 2016 flood drew it across the neck.

It’s definitely too close for comfort. The interstate isn’t working as a barrier anymore.

Eh, maybe - it was around 20-25 years ago that most of the apartments in that area started taking section 8. I wouldn’t totally blame the demise of that area on Katrina. (That excuse gets old)

Is that a fact? I can see section 8 taking hold in North Sherwood in the mid nineties or so but was that really happening in south sherwood?

Sad. This stuff is butted up against my backyard pretty much
