Damn ... Prayers sent for the family & law enforcement in BR. Horrible. ... We loved BR when living there, but saw the writing on the wall a few years ago & left. If the shite isn't gotten under control with a quickness, I don't see good things for BR's future, and this abomination of a 'mayor' is certainly not going to help matters.

Lots of police and sherrifs up here at Ochsner emergency room. This place is on lockdown. Lots of tears from officers but no word yet on the officers condition. Saw his wife escorted in crying hysterically and some kids crying also. SAD day for BR.

There is no easy answer. Surely no quick answer. I would encourage anyone who lives in BR to move if they are able. Leave that place to the animals since it seems they have reclaimed it.
