Only in Baton Rouge do the white school board members get called racist, even though all finalists for super are minority, two of them black.

Of course comments and chat are off. If these halfwits got called out on their drivel, they'd be a lot less likely to spout some of the nonsense.

BR is where it’s at because of racist leaders

They’re running out of people to blame

At this point they should just shut public education down in BR and refund all property owners that portion of the property taxes since it is and always has been an epic failure.

Their fallback is blaming white flight, and when that isn’t enough, they’ll blame them for robbing the city of money and resources on their way out of town.

A vote was taken to put Adam Smith as a finalist. It failed.

A masked blonde haired, fair lady just said there would be a recall petition filed tomorrow for board members who did not listen to their constituents. She ended it saying everyone could kiss her “lightly melanated behind.”

Why would any superintendent want to deal with that kind of behavior? frick that.

Well my prediction is that they're about to lose all these worthless crackers from the board anyway.

And I'm just real broken up about it.

I feel like I need some back story here. Why is everyone up in arms over this Adam Smith guy?

Here come all the racism accusations

I’d work 171827 jobs before I ever sent my kid to this circus. Good fricking grief.

He is part of the EBR good ol' boy network that will cave to anything the teachers say. I've worked with him. He is nothing special.

I am loving all of these racists pieces of shite. It is educational.

Adam Smith has been with EBRPSS for 20+ years and has held the interim position since January & maybe once before. He has the overwhelming support of teachers & parents but the board declined to select him as a finalist.

He has the overwhelming support of the unionized teachers and the Democrat-voting parents. He does not have universal support as the people talking to the board seem to want you to think.

That's a bad thing.

& parents

If this is true, they should select him. From what has been said at this hearing it seems only a small minority of the population was in favor of hiring him as super.

If you are St. George voter then why do you care
You don’t get a say and yes you will pay more property taxes in St. George when they finished with you
Let’s hope those crooks spend it legally

Bingo
It’s a well organized union takeover

They’re now calling on parents to not send their kids on the first day.

Remember folks, it’s all about the kids!

We voted for members of this school board. I expect them to appoint the best candidate.
