EBR Parish has some fine damn schools

With Baker leading the charge: 2 on 1 fight
BAKER - Police are investigating after video surfaced showing a violent two-on-one fight at Baker High School Thursday.
Baker Police Chief Carl Dunn says officers are speaking with the victim of the fight, which appears to have occurred at Baker High sometime Thursday. In the video, two students can be seen violently beating another who is already on the ground.
The fight comes on the heels of the school board's recent decision to pull school resource officers from the campus. Parents told WBRZ that the decision did not sit well with them.
Following Thursday's fight, Chief Dunn said a resource officer would have helped in this particular situation, noting that the fight occurred in a hallway where an officer would have usually been posted.
Now take into account the school was set on fire last week.
What a GD disgrace.

I moved ten hours from BR for a multitude of reasons, but one which was the hope that I wouldn’t have to send my children to private school. I moved to a great school district. My kids still go to private school

There will always be fights at public schools in EBR. Been that way for many years. I went to southeast middle and Woodlawn in the 90's. Ain't nothin changed.

No way, no how. EBR Public school system will never be an option.
In the long term it isn't worth paying $15,000+ a year for 18 years of private schooling in BR either IMO.
