This is all white people's fault for some reason. Oh, and cops. Also you all are racist if you don't put your kids in public school.
It's time to get rid of PC SJW bullshite and get back to following law and order in society.
80% of the students in EBR do not fall into the ignorant/thug category. The problem is that the 20% that do get all of the attention. There is no balance.
The top tier kids get funneled into the magnet programs, which is fine. However those tier two kids or kids who have parents who are not active in their academic lives are the ones who are getting screwed over. Schools are forced, I repeat, forced to try and raise the bottom kids up. In the process those middle 60% kids are the ones having to endure the foolishness and getting ignored.

EBR has awesome schools...if you want to pay the tuition.

Fights like this have always happened long before "officers" were posted in schools.
The real take here is that America has to have a sit down and families with School age children need to take responsibility for disciplining their children so officers aren't needed in schools.

Believe Ascension had one or two. Zachary had someone taking pot-shots at it. Northside area had some threats.
So a handful of outliers in "white" schools, compared to the astronomical numbers in "ghetto" schools. Got it.
You are a joke.

Just saying.

You absolutely took my general statement and ran right off the cliff with it.
If you wanted me to elaborate, you could have just asked.

No . Not every last one of them . The magnet program is excellent.

Here is my proposal . Move to a three tier system.
Not all of them are terrible including non magnet. My daughter goes to a EBR public school in a nice neighborhood in S Baton Rouge. It 97% minority but the faculty is all white. She tested into an accelerated learning program with about 10 other kindergartners. The staff is very caring and the students are extremely well disciplined. We had a lot of apprehension about sending her there but we got hit with some financial hardships last year that kept us from moving out of EBR Overall the experience thus far has been positive and has given us pause about staying in EBR at least through the elementary years. We will try to get her in the magnet program this year but if she stayed where she is for the next few years I would not be disappointed.

meh, we had girl fights worse than that at Baker High back in the mid-80s. However, the teachers/admins would have intervened much more quickly and violently. Looks like that teacher just sat there and watched.
