Go to their headquarters in San Jose, California and ask in person.
Make sure you also bring an AR 15 with you. They like that. You'll get much quicker service.

Customer service is rare these days.
Businesses just don't care, there is another customer waiting in line.
I was at Albertsons the other day when I asked an employee the location of an item. The reply was “I don’t know” and he walked away. No “let me get so someone to help you”. Awful attempt and attitude. Then I remember the time I went to the supermarket in Vietnam where I asked this employee for an item. Not only she personally walked me to the item, but she also asked what else was on my list and helped me get the rest of items on it. Night and day.

maybe have a password thats not easy for a 4th grader to crack especially after it was already hacked yes their CS sucks, i sold an electronic car part, the guy messages me 2 weeks later admitting he bought the wrong part number by mistake, but it looked close to what the part he needed looks like, so he put it on a bench grinder to reshape it and make it fit. so then he sends it back wanting a complete refund plus return shipping costs because the wrong part he bought didnt fit or work after he destroyed it on a bench grinder. ebay CS sided with him and charged my account for the $85 refund i requested an apeal and explained everything with the guys admission he fricked the part up himself and destroyed it and their answer was well there is nothing we can do since the credit to his account was already completed. i demanded to talk to a supervisor who parroted the same BS so i told them they just admitted to being accessories to fraud and i had it all recorded on tape and will be contacting a lawyer. they put me on hold for 5 minutes then said since they shouldnt have issued the refund they will eat the mistake and credit my account. thats the type of system you deal with on ebay. they only do the right thing if you have them dead to rights with evidence to threaten legal action. i will buy from ebay but i will never again sell anything on ebay again and i have a secure 16 character password i use and i change to a new credit card number every 2 years because its just smart to be careful with your online accounts
Yep.
I sold a gorgeous OG Onkyo receiver(worked perfectly with video proof) on Ebay: the guy blew it, sent it back to me and eBay credited him. Wouldn’t side with my appeal.
Fuuuuuk EBay with a rusty pole. I won’t even buy on there anymore.

Create a new account?
I for one, love eBay customer service. It’s built for buyers. Purchased a cell phone for my mother and she said it wasn’t functioning properly. Returned it with 1 year guarantee through eBay. Seller refunded me half of my money, saying she had not removed the iCloud account, but if I remotely removed it, they would refund the other half. I removed the iCloud account, and messaged them that I had done so. Never got the other half of my refund. “Asked eBay to step in” last night at like 8pm, telling them exactly what I just told you and got a message back at 8:30pm that my case had been reviewed and I was refunded the other half of the purchase price.
This was all last night, so I feel the need to vouch for eBay right now.
