I'm sure it's been covered already, but I'm pretty sure the scale of that map is very misleading.

This is far more concerning

We know why. It's called Niburu. Were closing in on stage 7 of 10 hitting full steam.

Unless this affects the polar bears, I don't really give a flip.

That map has lines of latitude for reference. 20 degrees of latitude is about 1400 miles.

I'm more interested in the South Pole...

Send the Navy and USGS down there. Use sonar and radar on the permafrost. Look for metal beneath the ice.

Actually we've known why for 2000 years.

"The phenomenon we call "precession" was discovered by Greek astronomer Hipparchus when he compared his own circa 200 BC records with older charts. What he saw was that the equinoxes in his day (where the sun's path crosses the celestial equator) were in a different position among the stars than the 150-year-old comparison charts showed. This is due to a gyroscopic wobble of earth's spin axis that takes 26000 years to complete."

The real mystery is why the quote button has quit working on my phone. I know it's related to climate change but I'm waiting on a government grant to fund further study.

Looking forward to people claiming this is being caused by global warming/climate change.

Its the excess CO2 pushing the magnets.

Actually the poles can shift and flip N to S much quicker than this and would have huge consequences on our lives. Now, please resume panic mode.

Maybe the Canadians were too neutral?

On a side not, it looks like it is closer to true North now than it used to be.

Massive pole shift. It has happened multiple times over the prehistoric past with disastrous consequences for humanity.

The magnetic pole always moves but after a period of fast movements, it is slowing down and is predicted to continue slowing.

Why?

Serious question. There is nothing about consequences in the article.

Finally we have the answer to climate change and it has nothing to do with Trump
