I lived in Dearborn for 4 years and there was never anything on the local news regarding muslims and crime or terroristic planning shite. Now you would have your local thug getting killed just like you hear on the news in NOLA. Makes you wonder if theyre really that discreet and covert or it is a big media cover up.

It's this the place that Ted Cruz aka The Zodiac Killer called for more officials to police that area after the Brussels attack?

Not a bad place to start.

The scary part is the Afghans and Libyans crossing in from Mexico.

How many people Hitler, Stalin and Mao along killed?

Ballpark - 70 to 80 million (ETA: I said 35 to 40 million earlier, but that is just Hitler and Stalin, Mao alone got 35 to 40 million) - all with, more or less, official government sanction or during a shooting war. Not all of them "murdered" - some of them just starved to death.

Still pretty bad. All 3 communists/socialists, too.

Europe made their bed. Now they can lie in it. LONDON had an Islamic mayor now. Let that sink in.

You do realize he denounces some of the extreme rhetoric that we see coming out of the Middle East.

If anything, this shows that hostile region that Western countries aren't afraid to elect people from different backgrounds. It maybe a small victory against Islamic extremist. But it's something that completely goes against their propaganda.

Boris Johnson wasn't exactly doing wonderful things for the city of London.

I'd venture to disagree with that.

Yeah, you'd definitely be wrong. Over 200 million in the 20th century alone.

The only thing that *might* even give religion a big chunk (~60m, as I recall) would be the Spanish colonizing the Americas, but even then you'd have to include deaths from disease...which is a reach.

Estimates vary so widely, though, and there is no credible evidence the disease was intentional. That's a lot of propaganda that is poorly supported. The disease process was a natural result of the interaction between the populations that were, heretofore, alien to each other.

Nobody accuses the natives of introducing syphilis to white folks, intentionally.

I'm not defending the Spanish holocaust, but this mass genocide number seems puffery at best. And even then, it was as much (or more) government than religion, as they weren't sending gold back to Rome, now were they?

Go ahead and add in these while you're at it...

Cambodia: 2,000,000
North Korea: 2,000,000
Ethiopia: 1,700,000
Afghanistan: 1,500,000
Vietnam: 1,000,000
Eastern Europe: 1,000,000
South & Central America: 150,000

No question, Darth - and mostly Communist/Socialist governments, too. I'm not sure of the 200 million number someone quoted, but definitely 100 million - probably can get there with just WWI, WWII, as well as Stalin and Mao's programs between and after the wars respectively. Those 3 really are world-class mass murderers. Because they and their governments "knew better" than the regular folks, as well as they fact they exercised complete control over people who simply weren't free.

That's why, by and large, you don't see those types of kill counts in the West. Hitler's Germany was an aberration, a peculiar form of socialism that found itself at odds with both Jewish Capitalists and Communists of all stripes - really nationalism/racism disguised as a form of socialism, and a violent malevolent form of nationalism, coupled with a shocking (even for the time) racist ideology realized a brutal potential in essentially emptying Europe of Jews. And even then, Hitler was unable to kill as many as Stalin or Mao - your top Communists in history.

It wasn't disguised as anything. The very name of the party was National Socialist German Worker's Party. It was national socialism, or socialism for the benefit of the German nation, as opposed the internationalist socialism, aka communism, which advocates for worldwide socialist revolution of all the proletariat. But it was definitely socialist. It was a worker's part for crying out loud, that's what a worker's party is. So they pretty much say that they're socialists twice in their own name, and just clarify that they're not internationalists and only concerned with Germany by stating that it is nationalist in concern and focus.

What is even more alarming is the fact that you haven't heard much about mosques being raided here in America.

There is most certainly a universal spirit or intelligence behind creation that flows through all life in this and other dimensions. But religion is a manmade attempt to describe that intelligence that started out sincerely enough but, like all institutions created by humans, got corrupted by power and money.

Absolutely - they fricking hid the most wanted man in Europe in his childhood neighborhood in Brussels for 5 goddamn months. Dozens if not hundreds of his fellow Muslims chose each day to aid and abet this terrorist by not (even anonymously) tipping off the police. That led to the two Brussels attacks. Everybody in his family/everybody in his apartment block has innocent blood on their hands and they should all be in jail right now.

How Molenbeek became a breeding ground for terror

quote:

These problems go hand-in-hand with a bleak outlook for residents. Local Muslims, who form 25 to 30 percent of the area’s population, talk in particular of limited educational and economic opportunities, as well as employment discrimination. As of January this year, 350 Belgian residents are known to have joined ISIS in Syria—a minuscule fraction of the country’s Muslims, but nonetheless more per capita than any other state in Europe.
