What about Edge and Test? I felt like WWE failed to promote them accordingly.

Perry Saturn is also someone that WCW failed to promote. He was a good wrestler too.

Edge had a pretty good run until his neck failed him.....Test had the personality of a damn bump on a log. He actually had a decent program with Steph and he was just the drizzling shits.

Edge caught fire around 2002 and only slowed down due to injuries.

Test had issues that hurt him, such as having his push stolen by HHH (Steph wedding) and heat with the office for doing stupid shite.

Honestly, DX is basically the faction equivalent of “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell. Good workers who were “over”, but not as good as their contemporaries (The NWO and Ric Flair, respectively).

Edge was a red hot heel when the Matt Hardy shite was going on. WWE did a great job incorporating it into storyline.

Test was a mid carder at best.

Christian on the other hand could have been handled better.

Yes he should have been right up there with Cena when he left for TNA....but at least they did him a little better in his post-TNA run

HHH saved that angle.....Test was crashing and burning

DX had a direct hand in driving ratings for WWF from late 97-early 2000....to say that the great product in those years from WWF was not driven by DX in addition to Rock, SCSA, etc is insane.

Nope. In fact, Brisco and Patterson vs the Mean Street Posse from the 5/10/99 Raw got a higher rating on Raw than anything DX ever did.

Mean Street Posse had a great theme and some great pre-debut vignettes.

Test was screwed when Russo left in Oct 99. He should've been in the triple threat match at Survivor Series instead of Big Show.
Saturn was a weird midget with no charisma. It's not like he was a big star in WWE either.

I'm serious, that match did an 8.6 and is the highest rated non-overrun segment in the history of Monday Night Raw.

Damn those two in the same sentence....hokey shite like Glacier and the Yetayyyyy are what got WCW to bringing in the older stars like you mention.

I mentioned Glacier solely because they created a whole storyline and singular enemy to push him against. He wasn't horrible and was getting decent pops but it was like he was working in a totally different company. I think it may have been the same with the luchadores but it's been so long ago that my memory may be playing tricks on me.

Problem with Glacier is he debuted not only after Mortal Mania was dying down but also after the NWO.

I don't think they had much choice, he had the room to make himself something at TNA and did a solid job of doing so. By the time they brought him back to WWE he had a good following and they paid too much money for him to not be pushed.
