He's got that "herpes infected Ricky Ricardo" thing going for him so I'm sure it works

I've seen construction workers who sound identical to that guy cat call women in New York several times.

It's never had their desired effect

Fifteen years in construction, I've never heard any cat calling. I always thought it was just an old myth. But that guy was such a stereotype, I kinda question if that was real.

To be fair, I've never seen it in the South.

My wife and her sister got cat-called while walking like 5 ft in front of me and her brother-in-law in Brooklyn last Summer.

Twice in one walk.

This was not because they looked especially hot that day or anything either.

You can tell he's a good, positive guy by that. An a-hole would have dismissed her as a dyke.

the fact that they actually spent money to put up a no cat calling sign is the funniest part of this.

And if they had any understanding of people they'd realize that unenforceable sign is just going to cause more people to do it.

Kind of like the guy that swears he picks up strippers at the hottest clubs and bangs them.

Same. I've seen some mild stuff down here, but when I lived in NY for a few years I heard it all the time. Half the constructions crews seemed like they had people on payroll whose job it was to just sit there catcalling women.
