This happened in 1991 and he lived. They got the wrong ship though. His helmet was sucked off his head which is all the sparks as engine flies apart.

Frankly a lot less dramatic than I expected. I was thinking liquidification of the the human body being blown out the exhaust.

I’ve watched it a few times and still haven’t figured it out. Looks like he slammed into the other side of the plane vs inside the engine and then plopped over. But I do recall a headline re a man dying by getting into a plane engine.

No. He definitely jumped inside the engine. And even though the engine was idling, I'm sure that there is still some sort of suction that helped him get pulled in. He went in with all of his limbs, but it looks like he came out with no legs or arms. And it looks like a piece of him fell to the ground before his torso hit. Maybe his scalp?

Maybe so. I did see what could have been a scalp on another look. Thinking of what could be so bad one would jump into a plane engine. Perhaps he was drugged up as so erratic.
