Don’t kill the ducks in your back yard. If you want duck meat, go hunt. Also, it’s probably illegal.

Have a beer and watch them quack. It’s not like they’re pillaging your yard or are going to wake you up like a peacock. I’d love for some ducks to just chill in my backyard.

To be technical you'd have to have a hunting license, be in duck season and be out of city limits (assuming you shoot at them). In all practicality you could probably do what you want. In all seriousness you should just let em be.

I have a Mascovy duck in my front flower bed sitting on a ton of eggs. I always called them turkey ducks, the black and white with the ugly red, bumpy faces. My SO wants to put her on the smoker. I faux glared at him and told him I had already named her Penelope.
