When can the first opium dens re-open?

You can get a breathalyzer installed after 1 dui, and it's mandatory for pretrial for 6 months

Does this make you a piece of shite?

This.

Yeah but don't you normally have to have more than one to get the ignition device?
I don't think so. Pretty sure first offenders can get the interlock device. I would imagine it's a case by case basis.
I don't think so either. A lady at work got a DUI last year and she didn't have to get one.

To me if a person ingests a substance to alter his state of mind, be it weed, alcohol, pills, or whatever it's the same thing.
Well it's not exactly the same
But I do agree that it's hypocritical to judge people that use pot if you're getting wasted on alcohol all the time.

True.
I'd like to meet the person with the discipline to be a recreational meth user, or heroin.

I don't think understand what you're asking.
Never mind. I see what you did. No, I don't think being involved in a fatal accident at .081 makes you a piece of shite. People like to try to find a reason behind an accident. Be it "gods plan" or "he blew a .081" rather than just accepting it for what it is. It's unfortunate, but it doesn't make someone a bad person. It's just a risk we accept to be able to travel freely.
Would you be a piece of shite if you got in a fatal accident at .079? What about .078? They have to draw a line somewhere so they draw it at .08 but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's not any different than legal age of consent. There are 16 year old kids who are fully capable of making decisions while at the same time there are people in their 30's who can not. Is a person who's 17 years and 364 days old somehow different than someone who's 18 years and 1 day old? Is someone who's BAC is at .079 somehow less intoxicated than someone who's BAC is .081?

Don't you judge people a lot on the poli board?

The government poisoned and killed 10k people to try and force everyone to stop drinking.
That's just them alone. You tell me.
Edit: Also, just looked it up and was told the swabs can catch it up to 6 hours after. So OPs buddy was probably smoking before work, they could smell it on him, and was subsequently caught. It'd be like them smelling alcohol on his breath and making him use a breathalyzer.

But you can also test positive weeks later which is the fricked up part. Get high on Friday night and piss hot on Monday. You can be hungover as balls and still have 0% BAC but that's totally acceptable.
Funny thing is, if you're even just a little bit careful you can do all the booze and cocaine you want on Friday and be clean come Monday morning.

One of the biggest potheads I know has been getting tested with the swab for 15 years and has never popped hot.
