And just completely ignore that he was passing a 2nd vehicle.
And you completely ignore he had room to move over after passing the first vehicle and chose not to.

but truck driver deserves some blame here
quote:no he didnt. he sped up because he wanted to go faster. Prove me wrong.
he sped up to try to block the car in again

You keep saying that and yet can't seem to show us.
2 different posters have showed you the law on passing vehicles, and he was indeed passing a vehicle.

Idiots cruising in the left lane is a huge problem, and it needs to be corrected, truck or otherwise.
I wouldn't say the truck, from what I saw, was "cruising". They had a right to pass in the left lane as they were doing, just as much as the a-hole in the sedan pressing him.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen a similar set up, the problem is there is ALWAYS some dickhead who feels like nobody should be in front of them. No matter how fast you are going and passing others safely in the left lane, it's not fast enough for some next level speeding a-hole. Those turds need to be off the road...not those even just reasonably following the law.

Because he was passing a vehicle.
Only after refusing to move over in to the right lane after passing the first vehicle.
The law says you move back to the right when safely able to do so, no sit in the left lane because you want to pass other cars, have room to move back over, but don't want to because it's inconvenient to you.

Yeah, but he could have put a little more effort into it since it's like a 400 HP truck.

He passed one vehicle and refused to move back to the right lane when safely able to do so.

Only after refusing to move over in to the right lane after passing the first vehicle.

By law, he doesn't have to move over because, say it with me, he was passing another vehicle.
quote:Except the law states the exact opposite of this. The law states you move over once done passing. He was passing another vehicle. The fact that he had just passed another car is irrelevant, not sure why you keep bringing it up.
The law says you move back to the right when safely able to do so, no sit in the left lane because you want to pass other cars

Following the crash, the truck continues to roll, while others slow down for the idiot driving the Honda. What a baller.

He was done passing and refused to move over when he was able to.

Which is why you can't hit a pedestrian blocking traffic in the middle of the road, even if they're doing it on purpose

He was done passing
Like I said, you can keep saying it, that doesn't will it into existence. He was passing another vehicle, the video clearly shows that.

The video clearly shows he passed the dark SUV and had enough room to move back in to the right lane yet refused to do so.

sure you can.
I imagine you can't legally see a person on the road 1000 feet ahead, have reasonable time to stop, but choose not to because you don't legally have to, so you ran right through that pedestrian.

He was passing a vehicle. He was in the left lane moving at a higher rate of speed than the car right in front of him in the right lane.

I think i know where you are going with this because louisiana passed a law back a decade or so regarding passing on interstate and hwys but this isnt louisiana. Yet you have yet to link any think you speak of for the past 5 pages.
