Why do some parents say "please come forward and turn yourself in", as if there's a chance the perp will have some level of decency to them? They're grieving, obviously, but it seems there's a legit belief that the perp is actually a good person who just made a mistake.

Must be some seriously life changing onions to take a human life.
What an absolutely LOST society of human beings we have here today.
NASA circled the moon and someone just murdered someone serving them food over onion rings. These people exist on the same planet simultaneously. Think about that.

I added links where the NFL, NBA and major corporations along with politicians will be holding moments of silence and kneeling to protest this senseless killing.
