Highly recommend Ruston Helicopter Tours. Great ski package.

If you’re in the area it’s a few minutes off of I20. Short trail to the top. Worth it just to say you’ve done it.

Serious question: should it be avoided during hunting season?

Climb Mt. Duffourc first as a tune up for the ever-intimidating Driskill Hill

Need to carve out at least 30 minutes for ascent and descent combined. It is super easy to do and my 5yr old loved filling his pockets with acorns on the way up and down. Fun way to kill a little time with your kids. Not worth going out of your way.

If you go, you better pack out your poop. The altitude doesn’t allow enough bacteria to break it down.

Obviously you’re not from North Louisiana.

We went last year with a group from Europe and Asia to mark it off our bucket lists. Once you get to the top you can see for mile.

The classic route can be done in a five day slog if the weather holds. There are many other technical routes, some unclimbed. If that's out of your league, very fit hikers can trek to the basecamp.
Serious answer, it's easy to get to and it's a pleasant walk to the top if it's not too hot. It's the highest point in LA but just looking at it there are some other hills around there that are taller from base to summit.

Highest dump on land...
Anyone have access to the upper floors of One Shell Square or whatever it is called now?
You can take a higher dump there. Only way to do an higher dump is in an airplane.
