I piss too much when I drink
I can't even drink when I take the small plane without a bathroom on trips

Yeps. I should have added that. I am eyes-on-the-road and chatting with the gf and kids. The kids even get my beer and dent the front for me so I don't even have to look away to grab one nor to take a swaller.

Did you really start a thread to say it's okay to drink and drive?

I'm not gonna fire that one up for a quick trip to Houston

I see no problem as long as you are under the legal limit to drive.

MADD has taken all the fun out of road trips.

Isn't it illegal to have a open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle?

Same ones that think open container laws are great, think that anti-marijuana laws are terrible.

Yes but also illegal to not wear your seat belt. As long as what your doing doesn't endanger other people what should it matter?

I'm not disagreeing, just pointing out that "I'm not endangering anyone" probably won't work with a officer..

I go out to the deer lease around 2-3 times a week. Its a little over an hour drive home and I will drink 2-3 brews before I get home.

Relaxing until you kill a family of 4 you idiot. Do you drive a black pickup truck by chance?

I'm sure you wouldn't be over the limit but all it takes is some teenager to hit you while texting and an officer to ask why you have beer on your breath.
Risk is too high for the reward.
