These days, I only drink and drive around the property at night. I can kill a fifth of bourbon, switch to beer, and I can still keep it on the trails and out of the ruts.
In my younger days, if I had 48 bud lights and a case of monster, I could drive to alaska with only stops for piss and fuel.

5 hour road trip seems a little long to worry about getting boozed up. I would try to stay alert and awake.
I am curious to wonder how many of the holier than though downvoters of your original post have ever removed the scotch tape and put a took a sip of their daiquiri, or drank any beverage before driving.
I do agree you deserved some downvotes. But if you've EVER drank and drove or done both simultaneously, I don't know if your downvote really means anything.
