He is not the one who made that up. There really are conspiracy theories by white nationalists about white genocide . He was critiquing their beliefs and support of such wacko theories, so he says

I'm betting that this guy has never passed up the chance to be triggered by an out-of-context or satirical conservative statement in the past, however. Most likely followed by demands of firing, apologies, and censorship.

He was notcalling for it, according to him. He was mocking the white nationalists, according to him. Nothing will come of this based on what he said and the context and intent. Apparently he is known for contextual tweets. If he did not have that history something might become of this. But since he does, this will likely be protected by free speech. It's kind of like someone here typing " they all need to be killed ", but in a larger context.

I understand that. How can he assume that everyone would get his intent and laugh it off, though? I'm not upset about the tweet so much as the obvious double standard at play here, which has been mentioned. He was confident that he would get away with it, and I'm confident that Drexel will come out of this looking like the bad guy for calling him out on it, when the spin is complete.
