At what point do we hold them accountable for this lack of progress when every other race has handled adversity in this country and moved on?

It's a lot easier for non American whites to blend in and "make it."

And we should always hold them accountable when they break the law. I'm not saying they should get special treatment in prosecution just because they're black.

I don't know what the answer is, but in cities like NOLA, the population is still pretty segregated and city services always tend to prioritize the whiter/wealthier areas. I'm watching my street being paved right now, but if I cut through Holly Grove to get to Earhart, I need a new alignment 6 times just to get there. The east is a cesspool and probably always will be.

You underserve a community long enough, then crime spikes and just creates a feedback loop where no one goes there because of the crime and there's rising crime because no one goes there.

Gentrification can help, but when you have real estate developers who only want the return on investment, it ends up pricing the existing residents out in favor of man bunned hipsters. So you need affordable housing as well.

There's no one solution to fix everything. It's very multifaceted. But to act like just because we repealed some laws, everything is fine is just not reality.

Honestly it’s impressive you’re able to type in complete sentences with all that white guilt consuming your thought processes.

I'm not talking about law breaking. I' talking about the garbage parts of their culture that no one is apparently allowed to talk about that keep them down.

Plenty of black people overcome it and have very successful lives. If we are so racist as a counrty, how is that allowed to happen?

Gee...I wonder why?

That's their only job you fricking idiot.

I mean, from a "systemic racism" standpoint, everything is fine. Not this white guy's fault that multiple entire generations of one culture have pissed every opportunity that has been afforded them down the drain.

I'm just a dude on a big ball spinning around space. Just want to live and let live.

I'm just tired of political games of putting the regular people against each other just to get votes.

In the grand scheme of things, all we are is a dollar sign to them. The more we fight, the more money pelosi or rand paul makes on some pharmaceutical stock sale without us noticing. frick em all, burn it down, I don't care.

Exaggerated example, but if I shoot you in the leg, should I tell you to shut up about the pain when it hurts next week?

If Your great grandfather (or great great grandfather or grandfather) got shot in the leg by someone not related to me I will tell you to shut up about his pain as it effects you today.

You can't just frick people's lives for centuries, then stop actively fricking them and say "quit your bitching and grab your bootstraps, you should be completely fine now!"

40 to 50 years of affirmative action, quotas, and various other special programs including scholarships, lower standards, lower expectations, multiple victimhood episodes where more is given and extra emphasis given that are wasted, and the out of proportion generational welfare abuse that apparently have been all forgotten by blacks and woke white people.

Low income blacks have had numerous institutional advantages over low income whites since the 80s.

Illegals and legal Hispanics come in without always knowing English and pass up blacks. Other races like Asians including more recent Indians come in and pass up blacks. Even Africans come in and pass existing blacks by. Blacks that break away from black urban and victimhood culture are better off than other blacks. The black urban culture is broken, but instead of holding it responsible and forcing change within it the leftists/liberals only want to keep throwing more money & special treatment at it and more blame at white people for failures of blacks.

Never fails. I agree that our current system essentially needs to be nuked, but that's just the cop out when you no longer can or want to defend your argument. The political system being a joke has nothing to do with the discussion we're having to me.

It’s more amazing you constantly think this in every “discussion” you post over and over in trying to have last word.

It's all politics. That's his point. That we're all stuck in the middle of it and that the infighting and division is by design.
