It’s the fact that many don’t have transportation & in Louisiana in August it’s much too difficult to ride a CATS bus with grocery bags of chicken breasts & vegetables when chips & processed foods are much easier to carry

I’d tell Bill that there are some drivable cars that cost as much as the latest iPhone, which many in poverty still own.

I don’t want to make light of others’ situations, but we need to be encouraging how we “CAN” do things, not how we can’t. The brain’s critical thinking centers shut off when you’re told/ give in to the belief that you can’t do something.

Yes it does when it comes to “access to health care”

So all of the programs that make healthcare affordable and easy to access are what?

Not working???

Such low expectation you have of people. ANYONE can get health care that wants it these days. Stop lying.

It also means maybe you can’t afford a gym membership, or a personal trainer, or things that could give you additional help rather than just trying to figure out a way to eat healthier foods

Are you saying people can't fricking exercise without help?

frick you. I guess you want to use taxes to pay for gym memberships for "underprivileged" now? frick that, you pay for it, send some underprivileged some money for gym memberships yourself.

Also, more often than not income is equivalent to educational level

Sooooo are you saying that schooling isn't available? All of the scholarships and assistance we pay for and this isn't resolved yet?

I hate people like you, I really do. You enable people to be lazy and make excuses for people who have no desire to improve themselves. Then you take hard working peoples money to "help".

Lol you obviously didn’t read my first post...

I’m not suggesting anyone pay for any of of that. My point is that all of the issues for “black people” could also be applied to poor people. Its not because of race, its because of income
