What’s your point?

Hopefully someone remembers to throw all the miscellaneous traffic cones scattered throughout downtown into the closet before our company arrives.
I assume it’s too late to repaint any traffic lanes or crosswalks along the new asphalt.

So y'all just expected the NFL to pop up these buildings/ tents/ fences and everything around the Dome overnight on Feb 8? One of the largest annual events in the world and it would have no impact to the daily commuter?
No other SB host city outside of Atlanta & Indianapolis have stadiums that are dead in the middle of downtown. And I don't think that either are next to major throughfares into downtown.

Neither Moreno nor anybody in the current city council and administration have any business being in office. Every incumbent needs to be voted out of office. The entire group is nothing short of incompetent. They all know it and could care less.

I’m sure you can find a parking spot somewhere and walk to your destination. It’s not like downtown New Orleans has that big of a downtown. Get some walking steps in and stop bitching.

Latoya will be indicted shortly after the Superbowl, Changes are coming for NOLA.
How f*cking awesome would it be if the Feds arrested her a$$ just as she was walking into the Superdome for the Super Bowl.

It all boils down to one reason. I can’t say it.

These threads really reinforce to me the fact that 90% of this board are people who live in small town Louisiana and view New Orleans as “The Big Scary City”.
Yes. The superbowl is coming. Yes it’s going to be a nightmare even a few weeks before.
This is not news and not unexpected.
But threads like these always bring out the usual posters who think the second you get within city limits it’s like the Thunderdome and you’re going to be fighting for your life.
It’s unreal.

I can’t imagine what this state would look like without the city.
