Overrated = it's a really nice city and the nicest in the southeast but you don't like it?
There are 3 cities (maybe 4) in Tennessee nicer than anything in LA. The city of Memphis (a relatively shitty city) has a more vibrant economy than the whole state of Louisiana. There are more fortune 500 companies in that one city than the entire state of LA.

I like Nashville and Memphis. I really, really like Chattanooga. However, I love New Orleans.
That being said, I'm not sure I'd want to live there permanently at this stage of life.

Nashville is a nice city.
but it is still overrated for as much love it gets on this website.
I find it boring. Broadway is a gimmicky tourist trap. the population's overall IQ is probably on the low end.
