Cool, now post the laws regarding tailgating. Pretty sure you’re supposed to be around 100 yards behind the vehicle in front on the interstate. I dgaf if someone is going the speed limit in the left lane I’m still not riding so close that a tap on the brakes can kill me and my family. Why is everyone in such a hurry to get to work, be a responsible person and leave 5 minutes earlier so you don’t have to put everyone on the road at risk.

People will claim if they raise it to 90 everyone will be doing 100 but its just not so in my experience. Yes, at 55, 65 and 70 most everyone is going to go around 80. Raise it to 80 and most people are going to stay around 80 because that is the speed they are comfortable at. If it was 90 most people would stay around 90, they wouldn't be doing 100. In places where there is no speed limit most people keep their speed around 80-90.....its what they are comfortable with, most modern cars perform well and handle well at that speed (they will drink gas though compared to 65). People think everybody in the autobahn is running as fast as their car will run but they arent, most are doing around 80-90. Some are doing much faster speeds but most are around what everyone is comfortable with and that is 80-90....

Reminder, because it needs to be said, anyone who decides to camp out in the left lane and not go back to the right is telling the world they do not know how to drive.

First of all it isn't truck nuts. It's a tri ball. Second of all, I don't care if I am doing 70 or 110. If someone is behind me, or I am not attempting to pass others, I don't get into the passing lane.

I’m all for this but am I required to join the centipede cluster frick in the right lane if I am trying to pass but one dickhead in the left is preventing it? Do I have to follow the rules that the root cause is ignoring?
My default setting is going 80 in the left and trying like hell to get over to the right if someone is trying to go faster. I’ll go 100 if it facilitates my ability to get over to the right. Not sure if it’s proper but the only way I slow anyone down is if the guy in front of me isn’t following the rules either
