ETA: Mine was there before the UPDATE of the other thread. So stick your Germans in your Nazi hole.
She sued the family from whom she tried to steal, she is suing the University that fired her for that action. But she is still a Board Member of the Council on Aging. Where is the Bar Association in all this?
Well boo fricking hoo.

Attorney Dorothy Jackson, who the Southern University Law Center fired earlier this year after a flap related to the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging, has filed a federal lawsuit against the university.
Jackson filed the lawsuit Tuesday morning in the federal middle district court of Louisiana. Jackson was fired because of her role in writing a will for an elderly woman, Helen Plummer, that allowed the head of the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging to collect more than $100,000 in overseeing Plummer's estate.
Jackson is a Council on Aging board member and ran Souther's Elder Law Clinic as a tenured professor. She wrote the will for Plummer through the Elder Law Clinic, but switched the case over to a private one once Plummer died and her succession proceedings began.
Jackson alleges in her lawsuit that the Southern University administration, legal counsel and board of supervisors violated her due process during her lengthy termination proceedings, which included multiple university-led investigations. Jackson appealed her termination to the Southern board of supervisors in April, and they declined to overturn it.
The fired professor has suffered "extreme emotional distress and anguish."
Well boo fricking hoo.

that allegation is bass ackwards, disingenuous and baffling but certainly sums up her and her attorneys credibility

It still blows my mind that she is still a board member of the Council on Aging.

People that are called out for their wrongdoings often have severe emotional distress such as regret, resentment and self doubt. The university didn’t cause them, her bad behaviors did

The only reason I think she doesn’t get laughed out of court is that Southern has gotten bent over in court before over firings.
Specifically, former university president Ralph Slaughter, brother in law of Deedy “I been witch hunt” Slaughter, successfully sued to overturn his firing by the university claiming whistleblower protections amongst other things.
The school got stuck paying him for another few years before they could terminate him, then had to sue to recover all the furniture he stole from the office on his way out.

Although I have absolutely no connection to this case and I haven't stepped foot in Baton Rouge in over 10 years, I've developed a visceral hate for this POS.
She deserves a healthy dose of vigilante justice.
