Move them up to the select league. Problem solved.
They are a select team who joined Rec because Covid canceled their travel league.
You would know that if you bothered to watch.

That’s silly. 7 year olds.

In our Marxist/Collectivist transformation of America, the new football playoff scheme has all teams winning an equal piece of the pie. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

This story is getting blown way out of proportion IMO. This isn’t unheard of in youth rec leagues when one team is so clearly better than everyone, usually it’s because they are in the wrong league. Basically if a select team in any sport plays in a rec league they will murder everyone and the games are bad for everyone because of the huge skill gap. In these situations it can be best to have the dominate team not play or move up to a better league to even it out. If you’ve ever coached youth sports you would understand how much better club players are than rec players in any sport because the amount of time you’ve spent playing a sport has way more of an impact on skill on younger kids, many rec players probably have never even played before while the club kids play year round.
This happened to a youth baseball team I coached. We were in the B league (12-13yr old league and the kids were all 12 so figured that was the right league for them). Well even though it was a school team we had a handful of club players and 15 run ruled almost everyone all season long so when it came time for playoffs they congratulated us for winning the league then asked if we would play in the A league playoffs and we said yes.
Then we lost in the first round because our 2 best players weren’t there

I think too many are trying to make it out as being an example of something that it likely isn’t in reality.

I sure hope that wasn't because the parents were pissed.

No they had a club tournament that was at the same time. Live by the club players, die by the club players

This depends on the make up of the teams. It sounds like one city let a team from Flower Mound in to play their rec league. But, turns out the team they let in was an all star or select team. If so then not real fair level of competition.

Yeah my friend sent me that, his kid is in the team

This team is also called the rebels. Sure it has nothing to do with why they’re out.

For context, the elite team is on defense in blue.
So on this play the white team has 4 guys split to the right. The QB runs to the left.
I think the coaching isnt good enough by the lesser teams in this league.

Youth leagues are always messing around w it. Could be out of competitiveness could be out of petty bullshite. It’s the nature of the beast

7 year olds didn’t “get good” at football, such that an entire team of them will be that much better than everyone else’s team. It’s obviously a team loaded with ringers.
The unintended result of the NIL deal.
I didn't think we would get there so soon. Wonder what they got paid, PS5/Xbox games? Hmmmmmm
