Honestly having Narcan around isn't a bad move. Kind of like an EpiPen. Even if you don't plan on using it, someone else might need it.

Kids are going to do drugs no matter what. They don’t need “reinforcing” to do so. Having Narcan could save a life that otherwise would be lost, heavens to mergatroid can’t be having that

I never said they did. Reality is lots of kids do, and having a life saving treatment for if and when it may be needed is not a bad thing nor does it encourage its use.

Whether it encourages it depends on how they were raised, what is said when it’s given to the kids, and other factors. In your case, you would tell the kid you’re going to do this anyway so here is your Narcan. I would argue that actually would encourage a kid to try. Like I said, you forgone conclusion types gave up on your kids.
