Don't alert me that a payment is coming due, when I have a pending payment set

Why do this?

Paying your bills on time is racist

I love it when their websites don't show that there is a pending payment. Recently paid my heating bill twice because of this error.

Probably. I just hate wasting time to figure out I already did what I'm being alerted I need to do.

in case you had to cancel your card or have a new account to alert you that payment is scheduled to process to that ## if you need to change before your service is suspended

I like how Entergy does this. A day or so before the billing due date, they send an informational email about lowering your energy usage or storm preparation tips. Very subtle.

Why? Because businesses chase customers nonstop to pay their damn bill on time. A pending payment isn’t yet credited and can be canceled

Then, set your alert to be triggered if and when I do so.

all it is is an automated computer alert, sort of like setting an alarm, why is this so annoying/bothersome?

Cox is infuriates me when they do this.

I just said this yesterday. Entergy emails my bill and asks me to log in to pay it even though it is set to auto draft.
I keep getting freaked out that the auto draft has been broken or something.

Verizon does it the right way. They say “your bill will be paid on XX/XX” instead of emailing you to pay your bill when it is auto drafted.

Yeah thats dumb. I dont mind and email thats sort of a heads up that a payment is coming out soon but there is no need to be YOUR PAYMENT IS DUE PAY NOW!!!!

Sprint does the same.
