Vivid memories of the games during high school. For the game during my senior year, I rode a donkey named Dynamite.

Lockport Jr high circa 92-93. My donkey wouldn't move an inch. Stubborn mf. He would let me on but that was it. Good times

My donkey wouldn't stop moving. I think that guy with the shock stick had something to do with it.
I was good on horses. I figured I would have it pretty easy and make some goals. Boy, was I wrong!.

We had it at the school every year when I was going. The boys in the FFA were involved. It was a hoot.
I’m sure it went away for the same reasons lots of other things went away.
It became too much of a legal liability to the schools.

Went to Donkey softball games back in the 60s.....And was in donkey basketball games in the the 70s. It was pretty big in those days.

No youngin would ever understand what we would describe. Especially if we say we had fun watching or playing it.
