The damage is already being surveyed. It's been declared a disaster zone by the Feds. All either of candidates will do is try and seem sympathetic then leave and forget about the people who have to live here and rebuild their lives.

A free ticket to an LSU home game would do more to boost morale

Just what we need, another disaster: the flooding and Trump's hair.

I don't think Don has it in him to be consoling in the least. Should be entertaining to watch him try, though.

Who's more likely to come and make a donation to LA's recovery?

Be along the lines of Obama playing golf and raising funds for Hildawg, Cajun Navy, people took matters into their own hands, didn't wait for big government, and so on. Basically state the obvious, and vow to do more if elected.

I don't care if she does, and if she did people wouldn't want her there.

If Trump was smart he would have noticed that there was a noticeable lack of attention paid to what people were dealing with here and made a statement saying he was sending help in the form of contractors, school supplies, and building materials to help the middle class folks get back on their feet.

That would have been better than a photo op and pandering to people who are suffering.

That's just me tho

I think it's awesome, but we all know if Clinton were to do the same everyone would say she doesn't care it's just a political move. Cheers to Trump nonetheless. Good move on his part.

It is all about campaign optics, and Hillary is coming next week, if Trump had not made the first move she would never set foot her.

Has the White House sent anyone down yet? Had someone fly over in a helicopter? Anything?

Serious question.

Secretary of Homeland Security was or is here today. It's a Cabinet position.

Hillary will bring up, climate change policies, blame Bush, needs more government oversight, and hot sauce.
