Republican vs Democrat is way past played out. Trump is shifting the paradigm. I believe he was the only one who fit the bill for this moment. There are plenty of good Republicans, but this moment called for a rabid dog and that's what Trump is.

He was always rogue. Bill Kristol is one of the biggest serial child killers in human history. He just doesn’t like people getting into his bottom line.
Here’s the problem: society went right and acknowledged him for the serial killer that he really is. Bill Kristol should be in fricking prison and he knows it. I hope Trump and RFK throw him into fricking prison.

Yeah Trump doesn't even come close to fitting the bill of what had become of the Republican Party. The Romney/McCain wing of the party has become irrelevant, and it needs to stay that way.
