I can too

miller lite is easy to hell to distinguish in that group along with coors light. miller is dry as hell and coors is watery to me
natty is garbage even in this group. it stands out on that alone
high life i drink the most.
the only 2 in my mind i might mess up are bud light and pbr. even then id bet i could do all 6.

I'd like to see it.
I could easily tell you which brand is which. There is a stark taste difference, Bud Light being my least favorite.

I bet I could do the same challenge as well. You around South Louisiana? I'll take your money tonight.
One sip of the beer and you've got to decide if it's Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite, Coors Light, or Bud Light.
I'd be surprised if someone got more than half correct.

Miller is quite different from say Coors or yuengling. Bud light tastes like a little bit of all the rest of the big 3 (M, C, MU)

Bud is the easiest to distinguish for me. It's a little sweet.

I love drinking beer. And so do the degenerate fricks I hang out with
Nobody could nail them all
Surprisingly, Coors was the easiest most distinguished. Natty got confused for bud light by the majority
High life was everyone’s favorite, although it was misidentified multiple times
The rest weren’t all over the place

There is a clear difference in these beers. I’ll take a taste test any old day of the week.

Thats an easy 4 imo.
People that drink a lot of beer and will drink a wide variety of beer can pick these out. Imo, people that drink craft beer also will probably be able to do it better.

Not surprising. It's the best flavor wise and crisp.

They are very similar.

High Life is the easiest to distinguish since it's not a light beer.

I think what this proves is that shockingly we all have different taste buds and capabilities
Posted on 1/30/19 at 5:47 pm to jimbeam
You can go lookup blind tastings of craft beer makers, and they are all over the place trying to identify the macro beers
Posted on 1/30/19 at 5:49 pm to jimbeam
For real. Im sure there are plenty of people that can distinguish between the popular bourbons and whiskeys, but I would absolutely fail at that.
Beer I would be pretty good at

How about you link them since you're making the claim.
The only one I know of is the one that Coors light won.

I can definitely pick out Jack Daniels and Jamison, and maybe Bulliet and Crown Royal, but I doubt I would get any of the other brands right, assuming no flavored whiskeys are being used.

From your link
So there's that which contradicts what you're trying to prove.
That's completely separate from what we're talking about...
quote:
Every time I get the question I say, 'Eh, they're all the same. I can't tell them apart,'" said Matt Gallagher, co-owner of Half Acre Beer Co. "But when you put them side by side, you can tell there are some major differences."
