Not only that it isn’t like they did this 3 or 4 times. They ran the same fricking scheme over and over. It didn’t take a handful of defense attorneys long to figure it out.

No, I finally got the baby to sleep. Be fricking quiet

I am not related to anyone involved. Unfortunately, in my legal career our paths crossed. I am in no way surprised this happened. He was reckless with ignorance.

That’s usually the plaintiff’s attorney. Insurance defense guys are usually reckless with arrogance.

One of the guys used to work for EW, but pretty sure was a good while before all this and was done under the new firm.

Oh boy. Can’t wait to read the ODC complaints

I think people should stick to the names listed. Spreading lies about others is not good.
People come up with crazy stuff and it just harms the entire profession.

If not for pure greed they probably would have gotten away with it. It was the sheer volume and similar circumstances that got the attention.

Yeah I’ve read a good bit of this and have not seen mention of EW.
You don’t think attorneys D-E are perp walking? Appears that the evidence is pretty solid.

I don’t see how those 3 are still in business this time next year.

If you think about it, this went on for a long time. Several great defense firms didn't catch it despite full discovery.
Meanwhile you have dudes in their late 30s early 40s pulling in 800k+ without bringing in a case, just working million dollar settlements. Money drives people, and sometimes too far.

Hadn't seen any reference to EW in any of this anywhere before.

What we just can’t figure out is why can’t we find the charges. Are they under seal? Looking at Pacer, LASC and OCD we just find the find the order of “interim suspension.” But no back story. Middle District, where all is pending, made us submit a request to records. No response. Unlike most suspensions this has no end date according to the Order. Dane Ciolino said “interim suspension” is basically loss of license.

I’m sorry, can I get TLDR for this?
Posted on 9/1/20 at 10:20 pm to skyisfalln
He may not have been charged yet. ODC was notified and he consented to interim suspension
Posted on 9/1/20 at 10:25 pm to boosiebadazz
If that is the case, he can still be charged and made public. Correct? His firm as already made restitution on his behalf.
Posted on 9/1/20 at 10:27 pm to skyisfalln
Yeah, but that would be in the hands of the DA or US Atty
Posted on 9/1/20 at 10:30 pm to boosiebadazz
Who was interim suspended?
