Doing outside chores on a hot summer day is one of life's simple pleasures

There is just something rewarding about working outside on a task to the point of exhaustion. It was so hot and humid today that I probably sweated the the gallon of water that I drank while working. I'm sure my attitude would be different if I worked outside in the humid South for a living.

My groundskeepers told me the exact same thing. It definitely was a scorcher today.

I cut my grass today and hated life. It was the pit of misery. I'm moving to a cooler climate asap

Not a pleasure when the humidity is high.
These comments from people acting ultra rich are the second dumbest thing here, right after threads about what you're eating or drinking.

Whats even more rewarding is loading up my clubs to play a round of golf and seeing the guy in my yard doing it for me.

Did you do anything outside today?
Did you post on TD from the yard? We’ll count that.

I worked my arse off Sat & Sun and felt great to sit and relax in the afternoon. Hot as hell but the body needed a good sweatin’.

I've been in the sun the past three days doing work. Nothing about the temperature was a pleasure.

There are few things more rewarding when you are rolling out of bed on Saturday morning and you hear a lawn mover outside and you know your grass guy is taken care if business. Money well spent

Wasn't aware you had to be "ultra rich" to have a yard guy. It's like 75 bucks a month.
