Cats are a lot more industrious than dogs. They like to cohabitate with people but I don’t think they necessarily need to.

Our crawfish pond had a layer of ice. Picked up one cage and they had a bunch of lil ones. Guess I should have brought them inside.

Both dogs and all the chickens made it just fine.

Huskies were bred for that. Pits have short hair and can't handle the cold like a husky can. Hell my great Dane can handle about 15 mintues of frezzo weather and then she's scratching to get inside.
