A doggy daycare in Omaha is getting a liquor license.
The approval came at Tuesday night's city council meeting
quote:
"So you can get a drink and then play with your dog. So you and your dog can socialize. A lot of people feel bad for going out if they've been away from their dog, so here you can bring you dog and have a drink as well," owner Danielle Hargens said.
The owner was clear about one point: Dogs will not be allowed in the drinking area. The health department wanted to make sure that was the case.

Damn millennials can’t do anything without their “Furr babies”

Great idea. I love going to the Bulldog and some sorostitute is letting her 5 grand pure breed go bananas on the patio.

I think that is a great idea.

So you pay to have someone watch your dog then pay for a beer to watch it happen?
Idiots.
There’s a dog park here with a bar attached, but you have to pay a membership fee or buy a day pass to go. Gay AF

I see nothing wrong with it. Nothing.

Great. Rex will get loaded and poor Maggie will suffer.

That’s not exclusive to us.
The attatchment to the dog might be exclusive to millennials and old ladies though.

TH03, I also used to think doggie daycare was GAF until I had an older dog who's mind started fading away and couldn't be left alone in the house, and did't have enough sense to crawl in a doghouse when it was raining or cold. We eventually euthanized him, but in the interim while trying medications, we took him to doggie daycare on bad weather days.
It sure would have been nice to get a drink after work when I'd stop to pick him up.

Oh I don’t think that. We use our place when the maid comes.
I was questioning the part where people are staying to drink while paying someone to watch their dog. I pay them to watch the dog so I can go to work. I understand your experience though.

This isn't a thing, but well played.

I know the owners of this joint very well. Place in The Colony. Pretty neat little bar and dog park.

Do millennials find it that hard to talk to each other? Every app is geared towards meeting people - Can they not just strike up a conversation on their own?

I love going to the Bulldog
Not a bad spot throughout the year.
Walking (meandering/ crawling) distance makes it wünderbar.
